Reviews:
* If you want an upscale 5-passenger SUV with a powerful engine, sleek styling, high-tech features, and a manageable size, the 2014 Cadillac SRX deserves a look. Source: KBB.com
* Abundant luxury and safety features; balanced ride and handling; classy cabin design; feature-rich CUE infotainment interface. Source: Edmunds
* Seemingly sculpted from a solid block of steel, with an aggressive stance and jewel-like details, the 2014 Cadillac SRX stands deliberately apart from a world of look-alike crossovers. Every detail of its dramatic style was carefully considered. Bold, potent, refined, and ingenious, the SRX steadfastly refuses to follow. Accessing the cargo space is easy, thanks to the available power liftgate with memory height that can be programmed for easy reach. Standard on the Performance and Premium Collections: 20-inch 7-spoke bright machined-finish aluminum wheels with premium painted accents. Performance and Premium Collections also offer the choice of available 20-inch aluminum wheels with either a polished or bright chrome finish. The available UltraView sunroof spans both front and rear seats and gives the SRX an even more spacious feel. The available heated and ventilated front seats provide just the right level of comfort, regardless of weather conditions. The direct-injected 308hp V6 engine delivers instant acceleration and still retains remarkable fuel efficiency without demanding premium fuel. You can drive your SRX with confidence, thanks to its available torque-vectoring All-Wheel Drive with electronic rear Limited-Slip Differential. It senses road conditions, anticipating traction loss and transferring engine torque to the proper wheel preemptively. With the ability to use multitouch gestures like tap, swipe, and pinch, the available CUE is as easy to use as a smartphone or tablet. Find a song, make a call, input destinations through the available navigation system, and more through voice recognition. An available rear-seat DVD entertainment system is available on dual rear facing flip-up 8-inch screens. Using radar sensors, rear cross-traffic alert warns the driver of oncoming traffic with visual and audible or directional seat pulse alerts (if equipped with available safety seat) if moving vehicles are detected. Nice body, the issue is 2011 SRX has POOR headlighting. The recall expired in 2015, so anyone buying this vehicle after 2015, you have to spend $1600 to have the proper headlamps installed. In my opinion, Cadillac should do right by all owners.

I loved this SUV until my touch screen went out. I started looking online and realized this is a common issue and probably should be a recall. Maybe it is why Cadillac changed the name of the car. I called to get a price to get it fixed and the mechanic said he wasn't surprised and he could quote me a price without even looking it up because it was so common. Beware....there is a good chance you will have problems with the touch screen.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this vehicle. I knew there had been some issues with the CUE system as well as electrical issues. When I went to look at the vehicle, I raised those concerns with the salesperson. I was told the CUE system had just been replaced & that if I experienced any electrical issues, the dealer would work with me to have any problems resolved. I test drove it during the day & decided to purchase it. I worked my evening shift a couple days later. Driving home that night, I realized the headlights were so incredibly dim I could barely see the road. I brought the issue to the dealer’s attention the following morning. They were responsive & said they would see what could be done. The next day, I worked a double shift. It was dark out & pouring down rain on my way in at 0530 that morning. The headlights were so bad, I couldn’t see 2 feet in front of me. I was forced to drive with the high beams on the entire 30 minute commute to avoid wrecking. Of course that poses a safety risk to on coming traffic. I decided to return the vehicle & fortunately the dealer has been understanding thus far. I’m currently in the drawn out return process. In all of my research, I didn’t see anything mentioned about the headlights. As soon as I googled the topic specifically, I found numerous articles about lawsuits being filed due to the dim headlights. It is a serious safety concern & I strongly feel that GM should issue a recall. On another note, in the few days that I drove this vehicle, I had the CUE system screen & dash lights black out momentarily & felt the vehicle lose power. Also, the CUE system screen started to pixelate on the side. For the purchase price, I would expect WAY better. Growing up, Cadillac was the only vehicle my Grandfather would drive. Apparently they don’t make them like they used to.
